Basement FAQs – Water Issues

Is Your Basement dry?

Dampness in a basement can be a sign of a flaw in the foundation walls or a crack in the floor of the basement. Water, or moisture, will enter through the smallest of holes and begin to cause issues. One of the first indications is a noticeable dampness in the air in the basement while this same feeling is not present upstairs. Naturally, having your basement inspected is important before the start of any renovation project targeting this part of your house. There are other indicators and having an inspection will find them if they exist.
